VGO Hydrocracking Catalyst for maximisation of HSD & LPG |
|
Hydrocracking is a versatile process having capability to produce wide range of products from Naphtha to Diesel. While comparatively less active amorphous catalysts are more selective towards diesel and kerosene, high activity zeolitic catalysts are better suited for naphtha selectivity.
In markets of high LPG demand, VGO Hydrocrackers can be used profitably for production of LPG, particularly, premium auto-grade LPG.
High versatility of hydrocracking units can be harnessed for maximizing premium LPG from existing units

| » |
Maximizing LPG with conventional higher zeolitic hydrocracking catalysts lead to higher yield of low value fuel gases & naphtha
|
| » |
Novel catalyst formulation increases LPG yield without increasing gas & naphtha yield and middle distillate selectivity remains high |
| » |
Catalyst is stable and selectivity does not change with days on stream |
ITL offers a proprietary hydrocracking catalyst (IZV Series) developed by IOC-R&D jointly with Zeolyst International having capability of producing large quantity of premium auto grade LPG without generating more naphtha and gas.
|
| » |
IZV catalysts have been extensively tested at pilot plants of IOC-R&D for activity and stability |
| » |
Optimisation of catalyst formulation - excellent activity & stability |
| » |
Catalyst suitable for both single stage as well as two stage recycle configurations |
|
| » |
Increase of LPG yield by > 5 w% |
| » |
Fuel gas & Naphtha remains same |
| » |
ATF & HSD selectivity same as conventional catalysts |
| » |
Higher activity than typical catalysts (same conversion at lower temperature) |
| » |
No special activation procedure |
